Chillin' in the White Mountains

A few weekends ago, a group of friends and I took a trip up north to the White Mountains in New Hampshire. We just so happened to plan it on a frigid weekend with wind chill in the negative degrees. Crane Beach with the X-T1

Who needs to go to the beach in the summer? It was mid-November when a group of friends and I headed to Crane Beach to explore and shoot around the area. Located on the North Shore in Ipswich, MA, Crane Beach is a beautiful conservation area, consisting of a large Estate, hiking trails, sand dunes, and of course the water. I brought with me my Fujifilm X-T1 and Fujinon XF 16mm f/1.4 lens.

Fujifilm X-T1: First Impressions

I’ve been shooting with my Fuji X100S almost exclusively the past few years. It packed a big punch in such a small camera, and its ease of use and discrete appearance fit well within my needs of cityscape and street photography. However from my background of using Canon DSLRs, I missed having an interchangeable lens camera, and the ability to swap focal lengths to fit certain shooting needs.
